As the impending threat of a North Carolina snow storm came up the first week of January 2017, the uncertainty of how the wedding festivities would roll became more uncertain. Lauren (the bride) and I knew that either we were going to take the most epic snow photos ever or just party on through the day.
Lauren had the best attitude about it and her now husband, Michael was just as chill as ever. For them, it only mattered that they enjoy the day with each other even if the weather snowed them in. I went ahead and warned them to be prepared to get outside and be cold, but we had no idea that a 30 mph wind gust would include 6F wind chills. The 5 seconds we were outside quickly made us rethink the outdoors. But what came from this was spectacular.
A small side room in the Wrightsville Manor wedding venue became the home for a 1 light source photoshoot, seen below. A time for Lauren and Michael to have a little them time and time for me to capture the sweetness of two.
It was a beautiful time of celebration, laughter and love. Michael's gentle leadership and love towards Lauren and Lauren's passionate, vibrant, spontaneity with Michael.

WHAT WE DID
Had fun, got creative, and used a gift white wall and couch for our backdrop.
